"working" at a homeless shelter run by christian community (who interprets the bible literally), so, a lot of right-wing viewpoints spouted. But, I know my Bible, and know how to fit in, and have a room to myself, and just register the guests and the IT side of things in exchange for room and board (w/ a side of Bible studies). Hi, Just did a quick search for Club 43, as it was in my native city (although before my time) and present this link

https://www.manchesterbeat.com/index.php/venues/venues-manchester-cbd/club-43-amber-street

Apparently they hosted some great American jazzers there after the M.U. ban on musicians from U.S. was lifted in the late 1950s.

The Unions were so strong at that time that there were very stringent rules about employing foreign musicians, which is why so many played with British pick-up bands (John Lee Hooker being backed by the Groundhogs whilst touring the UK etc). It lasted in film and TV well into the 80s.

Many years ago, I was offered a job in Morristown. I declined as I thought NJ was a cesspool of pollution and it was a misunderstanding anyway (my only foray into UX was a hit, but it was a mistake). Funny thing is I only found out about the station later, and probably wouldn't have had I taken that job

Bryars has run The Gavin Bryars Ensemble with his preferred musicians, consisting chiefly of low strings. Now, in addition, this regularly includes his children (2 cellos, piano and double bass)....Bryars .... has a stepdaughter and son.... and two daughters from his first marriage.

My father considered us brothers as his basketball team. Bryars has got an ensemble.
