Sounds like you're maybe trying to re-create the vibe of one of those Northern Soul discotheques, circa 1966. And you're doing a bang0up job. Loved the write-up on the Pontiac thing. Sounds like those clubs up there were a riot! There's another destination I'll have to add to my time machine, along with the Cavern, the Richmond Hotel in London when the Stones and Yardbirds were playing there, and Monterey Pop.

Looked at Pontiac video. Only four comments on it, and funny how three different people in three different years had to point out that the poster had the model year wrong. Video is stretched horizontally, not at the 4:3 it would have been when it aired, so it looks like a different longer car, not the silhouette the eye and brain expect for Firebird.

Boyce and Hart not in Days, just wrote the soap's long-used theme.
That's some royalty longevity right there. And there's a credit for a 2001 Days of our Lives Christmas Special, too
Guy from up here in Maine, otherwise a rocker, wrote a theme for Search for Tomorrow. Both him and Boyce had a tragic end, taking their own lives due to tough physical/neurological difficulties.

re: Gene Clark/Gosdin Bros.
Without sounding like one of those audiophoolbags, I advise seeking out the mono mix of this album. So much more cohesive with a better low end.
