It starts saving the stream as mp3. the tricky part is when you stop the recording, as you can end up with a broken file. What I do is that I pause the download, then resume it - it says 'failed', but that's not true. You end up with a .mp3.part-file - simply rename it to .mp3 and you're sorted. The good thing is there'lle be no re-encoding so you get what is streamed as is. Now, I'm not gonna try & imagine how this would work for smartphones or tablets

It starts saving the stream as mp3. the tricky part is when you stop the recording, as you can end up with a broken file. What I do is that I pause the download, then resume it - it says 'failed', but that's not true. You end up with a .mp3.part-file - simply rename it to .mp3 and you're sorted. The good thing is there'lle be no re-encoding so you get what is streamed as is. Now, I'm not gonna try & imagine how this would work for smartphones or tablets
