This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Quick web reading and appears chaga may soothe mind body and spirit but not reputed to be hallucinogenic. I haven't tried (that I know of), has any here tried it? There are alerts that too much too often potent potion of chaga may result in stoning of the kidney.

...Franco - my Charvel electric gittar was given to me by the fellow who has been the Gittarist in the JerryGarciaBand not too long ago. He's from Vermont up here. His whole thing is playing like Jerry. I mean - his *complete* thing. & it's embarrassing cause, to my tastes the more artisanal Jerry's equipment got maybe - the less I relate to his plonky twangy Country sort of tone...

...I would certainly give Jerry credit as a *distinctive* player - i.e. he sounds like himself.

Must play litter dub to the kids
Avatar 9:26pm

i'd listen to a whole album or more of roots music about picking up litter at the park

I'm sure there are many guitarists who have played lots and lots of guitar, e.g., Page, Cooder, even more than Garcia. But qualitatively I find Garcia as a musician unto himself, for better or worse. I think you nailed it, RevRab, he sounds like himself, which is a difficult characteristic to emulate.

almost too obvious a choice but i couldn't help it - these Skatalite dubs are INSANE

Listening to the hours of this - is like visiting an ancient wall that goes on & on with somehow perfect design - no opportunity for one brick out of place...
