	🥁 ♥ 5:13pm Discotech Underground: Candy-Where I am in FL it's near the coast so while it's hot it is also almost always slightly breezy, so that helps. I talked to my daughter and Muffinhead both who are back in Michigan and they said it has been hot but not as hot as was predicted.

I said "but you were 39 last year, grandma, so that means you're 40". She said, "allright"....

	🥁 ♥ 5:35pm WLSClark: Kip, if you have any questions for her, NOW is the time. I asked MANY and got great info on genealogy her last year, but now have about 50 times that amount of questions to ask.
	🥁 ♥ 5:35pm Discotech Underground: Mom-She has been in the hospital since last Wednesday, today is her first day in hospice. The move from the hospital was very painful for her so they medicated her heavily once she got there.

	🥁 ♥ 6:43pm Discotech Underground: Neveract-Yeah, Sinclair sold out to Atlantic Richfield in 1973 and they ditched the Dino logo. They still have actual Sinclair stations out in the plains states, though. I hit one just over the Indiana/Kentucky line south of Evansville and loaded up on Sinclair swag!

It wasn't uncommon for patients to come in, having been given only a few days, and literally walk out and have a few good weeks to months of life to share with their family and friends. Hospice can be very good at stabilizing patients. I'll be thinking about you and your mom. And thank you again for an amazing show; I know it's a lot of work. You're a radio reference standard in my book!

Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

They still have actual Sinclair stations out in the plains states, though. I hit one just over the Indiana/Kentucky line south of Evansville and loaded up on Sinclair swag!

It wasn't uncommon for patients to come in, having been given only a few days, and literally walk out and have a few good weeks to months of life to share with their family and friends. Hospice can be very good at stabilizing patients. I'll be thinking about you and your mom. And thank you again for an amazing show; I know it's a lot of work. You're a radio reference standard in my book!
