	⚡ 5:21am Don in Tampere: Sorry, was putting together a new batch of bread dough.Yes, I had three shows as a "pelimanni". It sounds more prestigious than it is; it's unpaid but gets you a ticket for the whole week's festival, and some of the performers can be pretty excruciating. But I got really good responses to all the shows. Two were completely acoustic, no PA, one of political songs (from the Wobblies, Woody Guthrie and me) and one of more straight folkie music, then one show with PA and pedalboard of "psychedelic stoner banjo".

	⚡ 5:37am Don in Tampere: Not huge crowds anywhere. There are about 20 stages ranging in size from small trailers on the backs of tractors to the big "Keskipohjanmaa Areena" tent, so things spread. I was on the smaller end, one in an on-site pub, one in a large-ish cafe, and the one with PA in a proper performance room. Probably never more than 30 people at one time, but the good thing was that they clearly really enjoyed it.

It sounds more prestigious than it is; it's unpaid but gets you a ticket for the whole week's festival, and some of the performers can be pretty excruciating. But I got really good responses to all the shows. Two were completely acoustic, no PA, one of political songs (from the Wobblies, Woody Guthrie and me) and one of more straight folkie music, then one show with PA and pedalboard of "psychedelic stoner banjo".

	⚡ 5:37am Don in Tampere: Not huge crowds anywhere. There are about 20 stages ranging in size from small trailers on the backs of tractors to the big "Keskipohjanmaa Areena" tent, so things spread. I was on the smaller end, one in an on-site pub, one in a large-ish cafe, and the one with PA in a proper performance room. Probably never more than 30 people at one time, but the good thing was that they clearly really enjoyed it.
