	8:44am dano59: There are a few small to large (not Okeefenokee large, mind you) swamps around here - adjacent to Eldridge Lake & its amusement park; a small fishing pond a few blocks from here along Newtown Creek; and the sizable Queen Catherine Marsh that stretches for miles south of Seneca Lake. I grew up around ducks, geese, cattails, fishes, BB guns and canoes. It’s all connected to the Great Lakes or the ocean via canals, the St. Lawrence or the Chesapeake watershed.

	8:44am dano59: There are a few small to large (not Okeefenokee large, mind you) swamps around here - adjacent to Eldridge Lake & its amusement park; a small fishing pond a few blocks from here along Newtown Creek; and the sizable Queen Catherine Marsh that stretches for miles south of Seneca Lake. I grew up around ducks, geese, cattails, fishes, BB guns and canoes. It’s all connected to the Great Lakes or the ocean via canals, the St. Lawrence or the Chesapeake watershed.
