Good morning Brian and listeners. Only dropping in for a bit today because I have to leave for the garden party that closes the weekend of the university's formal conferment of doctoral degrees. A friend and colleague of mine from Berkeley got an honorary doctorate so I was assigned as host for the weekend, lots of tailcoat wearing and strange rituals. But since Ban K-Moon was my honorary doctor's neighbor on stage, I also got to meet him. A weekend of contrasts because I also had to go straight from the ceremony rehearsal to perform a gig with my band at a benefit for Ukraine. In case anyone is curious: www.instagram.com...

There were few wildfires in Lozère and Ardèche, not so far from where I live, but the biggest ones were/are in Southwest of France, south from Bordeaux. But there were many wildfires in other aeras too, even in Bretagne. Terrific!
