I went and googled around to figure out when the Sesame Street aliens radio skit was first broadcast, to see whether scared me when I was little or something. But no, it was 1979. I was 16, and (more importantly) when I was a teenager I was living beyond the range of any PBS station.

@R Rabbit. We saw ELP just before Tarkus was released they did both albums, all songs. First song everyone stood, second song everyone stood on their seat, third song everyone stood on their arm rest w their arms around their neighbors for support. We stayed that way for the whole concert ,w a sitting break for Take a Pebble, then back up.

We met when I went into the record shop in the Toadstool and said to the tattooed man behind the counter that whoever is stocking the jazz is doing a fantastic job. "That's me!" he said. We've been friends ever since, going back to 2004. Really nice folks. He appears to be knocking it out of the park with this Nova Arts thing. That's one of the few things I miss about New Hampshire.
