Gilmore Red Lion petrol, will look that up. That show is interesting due to the interaction with the service men.

WR:

Am not familiar with Bob Burns.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Neither was I. His name popped up when searching for Spike Jones. I haven't researched him further yet.

Bob Burns, I had heard of but forgotten. I knew bazooka was a name from an instrument but had forgotten it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi MHLee!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm
MHLee:

i just had a carbon fibre ukulele delivered
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I think 'bazooka' is the weapon and 'bouzouki' is the instrument. However I've seen the mix-up in a secundary music learning method, "Question two: write down the rhythm the Bazookas play"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm
MHLee:

Apparently the weapon took the name from a Bob Burns novelty instrument
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm
Jan Turkenburg:

@12:53 A delivery like that makes the day, doesnt it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm
MHLee:

It does
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm
MHLee:

I bought this from japan about too months ago
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm

Spike Mangoes to replicate his studio sound live
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I got a nice delivery too, today. Paper Kosmonaut has sent me two singles of Jan Rot's first band Ratata.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:01pm
WR:

You should add Bing Crosby to the Kraft segment, even if he didn't sing, he hosted.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:02pm
WR:

Thank you! Jan! Very interesting selections.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm
Jan Turkenburg:

thanks for keeping me company, WR and MHLee!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:07pm
WR:

I can visualize Spike Mangoes as a retro exotica band name.
