fred, this might very well refer to me and my colleagues: "Even employees from other publishing houses have come by with donations of food and words of encouragement, some even joining us marching on the line for a period."
Hola paradisians, buenos tardes borrachos, salud! Hubig I saw one of the images on your profile page on the cover of J. K. Toole's "Conferacy of Dunces" at the libro today...small world.
I bought a used copy of the record, Car 54 Where Are You? Officer Gunther Toody tells Toody Tales. Among the tales: Sidney the Flying Fish, Oliver the Owl, and the Trial of Brewster the Rooster. Record had a bad warp but played without skipping!

You guys know if the Record Sale is on for Saturday?
I want to rhyme "leather" and "rather". Then people will wonder if they heard "lather", and they'll totally rethink their thinking. It might just bring in The Revolution! (I'll can dream.)(Do you want to buy a can of dreams? It's full of lather. Or leather. Association is free!)
I grew up between Syracuse and Rochester, but closer to Syracuse. Our TV Guide listed both Syracuse and Rochester channels, but on our side of the hill, we didn't get Rochester channels.
Where is this leading? One of the Rochester stations played Car 54, and I totally wanted to watch it, because I loved cop shows. I somehow knew that Fred Gwyn was in it, so I figured it might be a funny cop show. I've still never seen it. It's totally a sad hole in my life, worthy of that song by The Police.
