Oh darn! I was excited I could donate in my leaders name today instead of waiting until the 31st. Banner is gone. I suppose I can go to the home page and figure it out.

Hi Becky. I can donate to you and don at the same time right? During past fundraiser times I separated it. Because your streams are separate. I'll go to the home page now.

Yes, you can choose both from a pull-down menu. Hi, Cheree!

↳ Song: "Miss Shapiro" by "Phil Manzanera"
Hello to everyone in Glitter Gulch!

Possibly my fave Eno lyrics. Rarely has gibberish sounds so good.

Hey, Kitten, the wired up, and---that's everybody, right?

Thank you, Deb! That was so cool of you.

Becky, that's the 1st time Don played that Plimsouls 45 on Wired Up!

Ricky Wilde should have covered DGD!

I am pretty sure I have it but must have forgotten it was on Bomp. Greg Shaw was my friend. I know I’ve played Zero Hour and Now.

OMG Becky, that is part of the reason I warmed up to Teen Wave type stuff. I'd be away at the computer, hear the songs and think WOW! A Suzi Quatro song I haven't heard before. Flame Big Wheels Turnin' especially.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

↳ Debbie Davenport @3:18
Ha! I guess she wasn’t THAT much older! Was this song written by a Swede? Go, Tommi!

Becky, Tommy James covered Devil Gate Drive.

How far north of me are you?
Avatar 3:31pm
Debbie Davenport:

↳ Becky Ebenkamp @3:24
Do you live in Long Beach? 14-15 hours from there to Eugene. Portland usually gets more snow than us. People act like it's a hop skip and a jump away, but it's like 2 hours or more.
Avatar 3:32pm
Debbie Davenport:

I don't think it will stick. But it's big and fluffy. Bigger than usual for it being so warm. I love going outside and looking up like farm turkeys do. It's mesmerizing. I was just outside doing that.
  3:32pm
Kittimu:

oh hey i like the hollywood brats. idk why this is their most popular song though it's really not the best one
Avatar 3:33pm
Debbie Davenport:

Love this song.
  3:34pm
Kittimu:

It's still pretty good but I always skip the outro cause it's so long 😅
Avatar 3:37pm
Debbie Davenport:

You're right about it being the most popular song though. I have a HOllywood Brats record, but I'm used to this song the most. I think a punk band covered it too. Or maybe they covered it. My brain is foggy about it all. Works for more than one kind of crowd.
  3:37pm
Kittimu:

It took me forever to realize the piano at the end of Sick On You (last song on the album) is because it's the same as the intro to Chez Maximes (first song on the album) so you can loop it
Avatar 3:37pm
Debbie Davenport:

Ooh, Astrologer covers that? Cool! I want to hear it.
  3:41pm
Cheree July:

No Debbie, Astrologer did a song that sounded like that.

Weird. I had no idea 10cc did music like this. Was this a one-off?
Avatar 4:10pm
Debbie Davenport:

10cc owned Strawberry Studios and are session musicians on some things I would never expect. Don said on one of my Kasnat Kats posts that they are on their English releases. I've been meaning to look into those specific details.

Cheree July:

Rich, 10CC did music like this all the time.

Well, The Boys did it...but they were an offshoot band, so not really a cover.
