re CAN albums: imo, are best appreciated in their entirety (yet I’m lucky enough to have been listening to all their Lps prior to the internet age - who has the focus anymore?). ye olde days, when we weren’t so distracted and didn’t have access to everything everywhere all at once. The individual albums kinda build a vibe that some of the solid & great compilations Don’t quite match. Yet, those carefully curated & self cherry picked (by Holger & Irmin) those collections still Can make magic moments.
I highly recommend the band selected compilation 👉
“Unlimited Edition” (1968-1975)= such variety on one 80min CD (formerly a 2xLP set). Yet it’s not quite as crystallized as their unique peak period (1969-1973). Note: many fans will direct one to “Soon Over Babaluma” - yet imo that was a very transitional album that had polarizing very high highs & a few lows. (Still very vintage though).
“FUTURE DAYS” 1973 is my personal esthetic pick for ultimate single album winner. The sidelong “bel air” is a sublime active ambient 20minutes ! (Perhaps my favorite ambient sounds of all times) Ege Bamyasi (1972) is perhaps my next fave. Try anything from 1969 to 1975. “The Peel Sessions” are also great as is the surprisingly solid barrel scrapings of “The Lost Tapes” 3xCD set! As for the rest - it’s more hit and miss. Yet, good stuff within all the various recordings lurks. Definitely try solo Holger czukay !!! His solo albums are a playful yet seriously crafted delights !

re more recent "official" live-in-concert CAN: i have only heard the Live in Stuttgart 1975 2xCD. Its pretty good sounding. Yet has a bit of that "boomy hall sound" and for me sorta too much samey dynamic sounding that has me kinda wearied-out as i keep listening. For me, the culled excerpts from all their open studio jamming experiments are so much more satisfying than the "just ok audio recordings" made from their live concerts. Still, i am very glad they exist & are finally getting official releases! Lastly, perhaps the (Irmin S. chosen?) "Can Live Music (Live 1971-1977)" 2xCD from 1999, is the best place to start with the concert stuff. - perhaps?!.

it's been out of control for many years.
that is to say, it's completely under control.
the people are puppets.
the military is a parasite, as is the pharmaceutical industry, scumbag fauci, biden, trump, bush...the government, essentially.
the american land isn't theirs to sell to foreigners any more than it's theirs to sell to mining and oil companies; or any more than it's theirs by robbing it from the inhabitants before them.
