MORRICONE ISLAND is a weekly film and television soundtrack radio program on WFMU hosted by Devon E. Levins. The show was conceived in 2007 and transitioned over to WFMU in 2014. THE MORRICONE ISLAND INTERVIEWS podcast features the in-depth conversations with film and television music composers and the related soundtrack industry and fan community.

Michael Riesman returns to discuss the Philip Glass Ensemble's upcoming live film score of Godfrey Reggio's 1983 classic "Koyaanisqatsi" on November 29 at Town Hall NYC. Riesman has been the PGE keyboardist and musical director since the mid-1970's and conductor of Glass's film scores including Kundun, Hamburger Hill, Mishima, Thin Blue Line, Truman Show, Candyman and A Brief History of Time and (non-film scores) Einstein on the Beach and Music in 12 Parts.
