Can't remember ever not liking Jazz. Was fortunate enuff to have an older sibling who informed me about the History of our Musics & the connections - & an eclectic outlook. Was a time tho I got LPs out of the Library - & really discovering Coltrane was kind of one of the major revelations of a lifetime. Here was this whole other Continent with a lot of the same dynamics as Rawk, but also entirely different...

but you're someone who'd help someone move, or bring over some beer and hang out even if you can't help someone fix their car; or keep your eyes on someone's house while they're away... much more often people want to hang out and have fun but they're very very busy when you really need them.

This morning I asked Chresti if she wanted to go to the flea market with me.

"We'll just go there and come home...."

"You always say that, and then it turns into a full day of goofing around..."

This is true: After I went to the flea market, I went downtown L.A. to look at a building bombed with graffiti. Of course, it was an ordeal because all the streets were blocked off for The Grammys.

I can't help it - I like to have adventures!
