I saw Talk Talk's last ever UK gig, and they were amazing, but really hard to hear because it was so quiet (and I don't think intentionally). A bit infuriating.
Niall:
These two albums are Hollis’ last efforts, and they’re amazing records to bow out on.

What am I up to this morning?
Housework, that's what and dogsitting.
The dog was sick thiis morning. It's not my fault, or is it? (shades of guilt arising).
Balls to that. I'm doing the owners a favour.
I quite enjoy her over for the weekend. It reminds me that I shouldn't get a dog unless I want my life utterly changed.

We took the dog for quite a long walk in the country, yesterday and being the type I am I'm walking with a bag dangling from my hand wondering where the heck might be a bin. Thinking, also, what's worse than seeing a heap of crap on the path? A heap of crap in a little plastic bag on the path!
Then out of the woods came this trail bike rider who had to stop to let us pass and he offered to take the poop bag with him as he was heading down to thevillage. What a kind person.

hello out there, yes cool you went and enjoyed I don't know this work he presented in Paris but of course I know him & invited him for workshop we did on ligurian coast and we had both Meg's book ( are we here yet? ) in our bag so we had a laugh... well anyway he is based in Turin and Italy contemp dance world is not so big )))
I just come back from Barcelona so happy our dance company did work again on an Opera ( after last summer's prod Carmen in Macerata ) Un Ballo in Maschera Verdi at Liceu premiere was 2 days ago and went fine, actually Virginia Spallarossa my partner works more and more on opera and that's great for our dance cie and makes me hoping for better days

I also saw Sylvia Gribaudi twice recently, too stressful for me. Though she used Toxic in a piece, Ken flashback had me laughing. I came very close to leaving though, which I never do. I think I'll bail on her, I just can't deal with her audience involvement thing, and her explanation for it makes it clear she doesn't want me at her shows. I'm not happy about that, but I'm not going to stay where I'm not welcome
