No luck. Soon after my buddy, who ran a record store in Whittier, where we lived, called me to inform me he had a bunch of new used classical LPs for me. I knew this would happen as I arrived at the store. I looked through the stack of records. The Richter Mussorgsky was a the bottom. My buddy charged me fifty cents.

	11:49pm Dean: My Richter story: I spent a long weekend or two scouring the greater metropolitan LA area, every Tower Records I could find, something like a dozen, seeking out Richter's famous Sofia recording of "Pictures at an Exhibition." No luck. Soon after my buddy, who ran a record store in Whittier, where we lived, called me to inform me he had a bunch of new used classical LPs for me. I knew this would happen as I arrived at the store. I looked through the stack of records. The Richter Mussorgsky was a the bottom. My buddy charged me fifty cents.
