There was a duo from Georgia, in the '80's, who called themselves Hanover Fist (before the Metal band co-opted the name). Synth Pop/Art Rock!

No famous musician birthdays today worth noting (I've hated Eric Clapton since 1974! While I like him in the Yardbirds, Cream, and Blind Faith, he p.o.ed me that year)!

We saw him in concert - the "I Shot The Sheriff" tour. He played less then twenty minutes, and walked off stage! We parked about a half mile or so away from the stadium - you could hear the booing even that far! Turned me off on him from then on!

I feel weird about Kat Power because of how she acted on stage. She was so pissed at the club, but she took it out on the crowd. Unprofessional.

Kittimu:

Oh, gosh, I've been so busy with college I've hardly had time to practice. Doesn't help that there's hardly any tabs for the glam songs I like. I should finish learning Cracked Actor though, that'd always a fun one

I'm so glad you didn't stop. I wind up stopping instruments and then surprising myself I can still play them. or relearn to the extent I show myself I could get to the playing stage. You know what two songs are easy on guitar that really rock and make a person feel like they can play? What'd I say and Ghost Rider In The Sky. I am so bummed I accidently got rid of the handwritten music for those two songs. My guitar teacher wrote them out for me. What'd I say in tabs and Ghost Rider in the sky was a noted melody like a simplified thing for piano. I have good coordination so that was fun to play. Maybe you can find them online. Not glam but you can make anything a glam version.

That's actually how Paul McCartney fell out with Michael Jackson. Paul was slowly buying back the rights to Beatles songs, from Norther Music LTD. When Jackson and he recorded together, Michael asked him what to invest in, and McCartney replied "old songs". Then Jackson bought the entire Beatles catalogue out from under him (and Yoko).
