	6:14pm Erik/VT: IMO, BikeRiders is very odd tone’d film. Doesn’t quite work - yet very curiously engaging. That director Jeff Nichols makes unusual films. This is the first I haven’t loved.

	♥ 6:39pm dan in wisconsin: I think it was either Sundance or IFC Channel where I first saw Box of Moonlight (1996). This movie has a really quirky soundtrack. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Wall of Voodoo, Peter Murphy... Set in the summertime, and it's a great road trip movie. John Turturro's character finds a mix tape cassette in the seat cushion of his rental car.

	♥ 6:41pm dan in wisconsin: I don't have access to cable television anymore, so I don't know if IFC plays cool stuff anymore. I saw Koyaanisqatsi on IFC one night after coming home from my movie theater job and was mesmerized. Ron Fricke is a fantastic cinematographer.
