Oh YES indeed! 👏! Mann’s Manhunter was & still can be a haunting revelation! Saw with my sister in theatre without knowing anything about it. We were floored. The other I consider a companion piece in tone is Friedkin’s To Live & Die In LA. Both Stellar.

I shall amend: Friedkin’s Live Die L.A.(1985) plays🔥hot, where as Mann’s Manhunter plays cool😎 🥶. Imo, 2 sides of the sane coin. Both have groovy odd Soundtracks that are still fun. & Casts of mostly unknowns at the time. Now i really wanna watch both right Now!
