You never know if they're gonna make a movie out of a book.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm

Haven’t read The Godfather but I’ve heard that’s better than the book, simply because the movie cuts out the ridiculous and salacious subplot about the couple with unusual sexual organs.

If it hasn't been done already, someone SHOULD dial related numbers to see what happens if you call un-carefully. Andy and Ken especially should have recordings of that.

Parker Posey stole that entire show hook, line, and sinker. She chewed every piece of scenery to shreds. There wasn’t anything else even remotely memorable about that show. I mean, sure, it was better than the 60s show, but that’s a low bar.

How about books that've been ripped off multiple times but never officially adapted. "Red Harvest" by Dashiel Hammet is the example given so often it's a joke. Not long ago I saw a movie trailer in which a character introduces himself as Red Harvest; good thing I didn't have anything in my mouth when I heard that line!

Isn’t that a religious flick?
  6:35pm
dan in wisconsin:

↳ geospart @6:32
Yep. One of the freakiest parts (and there are many) of Manhunter is when Dr. Lecter jerry-rigs the telephone with an aluminum chewing gum wrapper to reach an outside line on the prison phone and obtain Will Graham's home address. Freaks me out I guess to know that there's cellphones inside supermax prisons probably today.
