Yes. It's a fun, breezy read, but with great detail that puts you in a time and place. I didn't plan on it, but afterward I started reading the new Francine Prose memoir entitled 1974. I'm amazed at the detail and recall that some people have ; I can barely remember last week, let alone my teens and twenties. I suppose that's why Hitchcock and Prose are artists; an ability to observe, recall and share these observations.

I love some of his recent stuff as much as some of his older LPs and he is always a treat live.Glad he played NYC with a full band last year. he's always great solo, but he is an underrated electric player. I hadn't seen him play electric since 1988.

Really really enjoyed his recollections, and advocacy for late 60’s music. Think I’m gonna have to check out the book!

Seem to remember in my early days in the music industry in the late 80’s/early 90’s being invited to a loft that was apparently his home, to listen to him play his new stuff live. Very cool night. Cool and open guy. “The world’s oldest child,” as he said he’d been referred to.
