i actually never did that, but reminds me...i once tried stealing a bottle of soda from a beer truck stopped at a light, the person behind truck started honking their horn and driver got out of truck and chased me down the street into back yards. waited for the coast to clear to go back and retrieve my skateboard which i had to ditch jumping fences

we had tons of acorns. the closest neighbor my own age was steven across the street, the catholic school kid. he put rocks in the snowballs, and threw pebbles sometimes instead of acorns.

Nazis took power in 1933. A very dense frightening and informative book is the Rise and Fall of the Thjrd Reich by William Shirer. He was a reporter in Germany through the rise and was given access to the records after the war. If you want to understand the current populism it is essential reading.

I think this song illuminates their experimental streak in a way that a lot of their more well-known songs don't. What I love about the Germs is the sense that even in their tightest moments ("Lexicon Devil", "Communist Eyes", etc.), there's a very real sense that the bottom could fall out at any second.
