Extra dimensions are old hat. Now each vibe is a Pokémon, wwyd? Agitation classics, spiritual chaos, noise genre, drone excerpts, tone worship, safe & sane record warping. Music! Every media format! Incoming and outgoing phone calls! Voicemail, audio attachments, reading your horoscopes thru a tasteful amount of delay. For the people.

Favoriting September 9, 2024: CELLO FACTS
When cellos were first created, their strings were made from catgut, a product created from stretched and treated sheep and goat guts – the vegan’s nightmare! Thankfully, they are now usually wound with metallic materials like aluminium, titanium and chromium.

Music performed and shaped collectively by Les Certitudes:
Juliette Adam (clarinet), Félicie Bazelaire (cello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Léo Dupleix (harpsichord).

Score composed by Léo Dupleix.

The ensemble Les Certitudes was created in 2021 as a means for developing acoustic music focusing on justly tuned tones and harmonies, taking as a starting point the physicality of the instruments –resonating wood and metal– in a long musical form.

i object to the term "experimental" as a style, or genre, in general. i think it's the minority of the time that an "experimental" musician is experimenting any more than rock guitarists or jazz saxophonists (etc).
more often the artist has a good idea beforehand what the result will be.
...i'd prefer if it was "adventurous" music!
