/i had someone reneg on a freelance deal this week, (did the database work, and still didn't get paid on agreed terms) and my father had to undergo surgery, so, I haven't been fine. hearing live music in turners falls, ma, yesterday, made feel ok. this show is making me feel back to my awesome self.

omg, i got this on cd when i was taking music theory in uni. I would go on to release my only cd (i'm against releasing music) w/ an image of the phillips pavillion (1958) designed by le cobusier and xenakis, where this piece (and xenakis') was premiered in nyc....

The Philips Pavilion (French: Pavillon Philips; Dutch: Philipspaviljoen) was a modernist pavilion in Brussels, Belgium, constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (Expo 58). Commissioned by electronics manufacturer Philips and designed by the office of Le Corbusier, it was built to house a multimedia spectacle that celebrated postwar technological progress.

(i was listening on my walkman on a school bus getting back from long-ass drive back from tallahassee back to jacksonville. i think that dj saved my life, introducing me cage. of course, the radio station was bought out by clear communications the next year, leaving me w/ no decent radio (two years later they would buy out the gainesvile college station as well, where i went to uni a few years later, so, all i had was pirate radio until I foind wfmu online in ;98)
