So he called Robo (from Big City Orchestra), who had apparently been glued to his TV and sampling lots of audio (as one does). This is their set.

	9:16pm Rich in Washington: I remember where I was working, few people had cell phones, so everyone was glued to a radio in our immediate work place. Someone brought a little portable TV from an office. It was like another time entirely. I think now everyone would be intensely glued to their phones and not even communicating with each other.

	🥁 9:24pm WR: Here's my 9/11 story, or one version of it. I've lived in NYC since 1992. On 9/11 I was in Madison WI for work. I did (and do) installation and training for software that records telephone calls. I had just barely got the system running the night before and was barely prepared for the training session that was to happen that morning. I arrived a bit late and went to the meeting room for the training. No one in there. I went to my contact and asked if we were still scheduled for training. They said, go into the meeting room and turn on the TV. I turned on the TV just in time to see the 2nd tower go down. My Verizon cell phone didn't work for a couple of days.

	9:51pm A2B (A➡B): Hi Rich & Broken Radiots! My 9/11 story is likely going to be more interesting than everyone else's here. I actually was at the WTC 11 days before the attacks. And it was absolutely by accident, because I meant to take the PATH train line to 6th Ave. & W. 4th St., where I would've stopped at a record shop nearby, stopped over my favorite hot dog place for a nosh, then walk across town to go see a show at the Bowery Ballroom. So since I ended up at the WTC instead, I decided to buy something to eat at the Sbarro's in the ground plaza, then walk acroiss town past City Hall and up East Broadway to the Bowery Ballroom, not even having the slightest hint as to how I could've made such a mistake or the significance of my being there, considering the fate that was awaitiing the Twin Towers.

So he called Robo (from Big City Orchestra), who had apparently been glued to his TV and sampling lots of audio (as one does). This is their set.

	9:16pm Rich in Washington: I remember where I was working, few people had cell phones, so everyone was glued to a radio in our immediate work place. Someone brought a little portable TV from an office. It was like another time entirely. I think now everyone would be intensely glued to their phones and not even communicating with each other.

	🥁 9:24pm WR: Here's my 9/11 story, or one version of it. I've lived in NYC since 1992. On 9/11 I was in Madison WI for work. I did (and do) installation and training for software that records telephone calls. I had just barely got the system running the night before and was barely prepared for the training session that was to happen that morning. I arrived a bit late and went to the meeting room for the training. No one in there. I went to my contact and asked if we were still scheduled for training. They said, go into the meeting room and turn on the TV. I turned on the TV just in time to see the 2nd tower go down. My Verizon cell phone didn't work for a couple of days.

And it was absolutely by accident, because I meant to take the PATH train line to 6th Ave. & W. 4th St., where I would've stopped at a record shop nearby, stopped over my favorite hot dog place for a nosh, then walk across town to go see a show at the Bowery Ballroom. So since I ended up at the WTC instead, I decided to buy something to eat at the Sbarro's in the ground plaza, then walk acroiss town past City Hall and up East Broadway to the Bowery Ballroom, not even having the slightest hint as to how I could've made such a mistake or the significance of my being there, considering the fate that was awaitiing the Twin Towers.
