YES, the transformative magic of 3-4 pints... After years of hearing the Geordie accent is the hardest for americans to understand, we had to go during a London trip; long train journey to Newcastle, and the accent was definitely a thing, BUT after 4 pints of the bitter in the Old George, the local patter was ABSOLUTELY natural.

I lived in Norfolk, VA. for 15 years. I used to hear the Eastern Shore accents. My sisters, who still live in Norfolk, say that accent is pretty much gone.

I dont have lymphedema but yes i do urinate more during or after the treatments. The classes to be licensed are expensive but even football players get it now. Getting one pre and post operations can be very helpful to get the reparing molecules past the inflammation.

There was an accent in Sunset District San Francisco until the 90s. It was nearly an east coast drawl. White folks lived there for decades and were City workers and other blue collar. They are dead or moved to suburbs.

Though I grew up in NY, I don’t have even the slightest regional accent. I’m told that it is my plainspoken manner, attitude and confidence that give me away as a New Yorker. Everywhere I’ve travelled, across these not so united states, to the UK,Europe, Australia, and Chile, once I begin speaking, they all seem to know that I was born and raised in NY. I’m proud of it. And, though I miss the E. and the peeps there, I am still not sorry I relocated to the Bay Area. The climate suits my clothes here.

When I moved to San Francisco in 1980, there was a hot dog place on Haight St called Chicago Hot Dog. One of the offerings was called a Fog Dog.
