oh i know...not an original idea. still.
that folk band satire movie looks a little boring though, even the the concept seems good.

i've never been to a movie theatre alone, and only have watched a few movies on tv. mostly documentaries.
never rented a movie for myself; but i've gone through phases of watching lots of movies with other people, and usually enjoy them.

Ahhhh. Alright. That paints a richer picture.

I went a couple of times to a movie theatre alone, but that was a number of years ago.

I am not a huge movie person for similar reasons: a lot to create, read, listen, and observe.

If you like metal music and comedy, This is Spinal Tap is a great movie to check out.

May you find someone who is interested in watching it with you soon.

I wonder if a movie meet-up website would be a viable business model? Person A and Person B both express interest in some movie that's playing. Through the website or phone app, they agree to see the movie together and promise not to stalk each other.

Not sure. Looking at past events, it looks like it has been about a year since a band was live. There have been a few performances, but the events have been movie nights, meet-ups, sales, and other one-off activities.
