My gran used to use a lot of "cooking sherry" when she was making Sunday dinner, which served to improve her mood more than those of us eating her output. Closest I can come is a preference for the whiskies of Scotland that are aged in sherry casks, of which Glenfarclas is my favorite.

Sounds like a sweet gig for a teenager. (I think a "negligee salon" was basically a club and pretty girls sat with you and no doubt got you to buy more expensive liquor)

Closest I can come is a preference for the whiskies of Scotland that are aged in sherry casks, of which Glenfarclas is my favorite.
