I'd *shudder* at what might constitute a "Bodenheim", an accumulation of all his other drinks mentioned? I'll think of something drinkable with him in mind.

dday:
I will always treasure this photo (at left) I took of your Father-In -Law when he did a benefit for us organizers of a grassroots Woodstock 25th anniversary show in 1994.
This was shot at a restaurant in Monticello,NY called Scalawags.
He was such a gentleman, soft spoken, kind, with that big smile & deep laugh and was amazing that night as always.
The photo is with L-R: Lenny Hayden (guitarist Middletown,NY) Will Hoppey (singer Songwriter Port Jervis NY), Richie and the late Bill Perry (guitarist Middletown,NY) who was at the time playing with Richie.
Lenny Hayden who was playing with Will Hoppey at the time of this photo, filled that role when Bill passed on.
Thanks for sharing your stories.
I had this photo made into an 8x10 and gave it to Richie when he played the first show at the newly re-opened Historic Blairstown Theater in Blairstown,NJ in 2009 (now reverted back to it's original name of Roy's Hall).
He left such a musical legacy and I'll always miss him. Kindness & grace.
