He eventually dug up a newspaper ad for the show that he had kept and my brother and I saw that Charlie Parker was on the bill. We went into high gear "OH MY GOD DAD YOU SAW CHARLIE PARKER LIVE TELL US EVERY LITTLE DETAIL THAT YOU REMEMBER" and all he remembered was Hampton.

He eventually dug up a newspaper ad for the show that he had kept and my brother and I saw that Charlie Parker was on the bill. We went into high gear "OH MY GOD DAD YOU SAW CHARLIE PARKER LIVE TELL US EVERY LITTLE DETAIL THAT YOU REMEMBER" and all he remembered was Hampton.
