A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

If I remember correctly, that Matta-Clark work was made right next where I work (the street kinda looks familiar, then again most Paris streets look alike)

I also envisioned this being composed by a lab-coat-wearing person at like Bell Labs or something (huge compliment); now I see he's more Bob Ross–like in some of his pics (also a huge compliment)!

Getting ready to start cooking for the classroom potluck for my 4th grader. Coffee with chicory and a smoothie first.
What a moment we’re in, huh? Haven’t felt this hopeful about a coalescing of the 99% in a very long time.

I just looked it up, it could go onto the good list - I bet I've heard at least some of it without knowing what it was.

They’ve worked very hard for centuries, spending billions and billions, in convincing people to either Worship, or Emulate, the Rich. Which is basically the basis for all advertising, and the CIA working with Hollywood/tv to churn out both nationalistic tripe (supporting the American Dream lie), Copaganda and Who Wants to be Rich & Famous garbage (think of 80’s tv and films).
But we’re truly, maybe just maybe, on the cusp of a new dawn. Have never seen anything more convincing than the public’s overwhelming reaction to the CEO assassination.
One of the keys going forward will be the public’s capacity for and involvement with instead of worship relentless mockery and ridicule of them. That, along with the implicit threat of us coming after them, I’m afraid to say looks like the way forward.

“One person with a pistol just shook the ruling class more than decades of peaceful organizing.”
And, as we’ve seen for the past two weeks the words of the Prophet Seers on the proverbial walls of TikTok, YouTube, Twitter etc are totally in sync with the subway walls, wheat-pasted posters and banners of comrades all over NYC (and the world!).
The Profiteers are reeling in fear.
In another irony we of the 99%, to take a page out of an MBA course, need to capitalize on this crisis.
Luigi’s act is the launch pad for the rocket that is the vast, previously somnambulant majority of people who haven’t been able until now to articulate how much they desire a non-capitalist society. For those working inside in political campaigns and advocacy work you’ve never had a better opportunity to get results, probably ever.

During the Bernie campaigns I began writing a utopian piece describing what everyday life would look like in an America socialist economy, inspired by Edward Bellamy’s “Looking Backward” (which incidentally was one of Martin Luther King‘s favorite books).
Looking forward to this later as soon as I’m done cooking and then eating with a class of 4th graders. Teacher asked for the accompanying recipe. Mine’s called “Puttanesca for the People (including prominently Luigi Mangione).”

All Power To the People. I’ve got a Black Panthers “Free Food Program” shirt on for the purpose of hopefully engaging the young in some radical proletariat discussion in their classroom.
Cooking comes from a place of love. Do it for one another, invite comrades to share.
The 1% *never* cook for themselves. There’s a metaphor in there somewhere if someone wants to offer one…
