Zar Electrik | Babord | Koyo | Jarring Effects Label & Lamastrock | In Zar Electrik's compositions, Gnawa trances rub shoulders with sub-Saharan rhythms and instruments. Arthur Péneau's electric kora meets Anass Zine's North African and Oriental influences on oud and guembri. It's a clever, tasty mix, and the beats and electro sounds of Didier Simione (aka Miosine) bring it all together in a spellbinding, festive soundtrack. - PR | * | 0:43:11 (MP3 | Pop-up) |

Uusikuu feat. Milana Misic | Sulle salaisuuden kertoa mä voisin feat. Milana Misic | Piknik | Nordic Notes / CPL Musicgroup | Uusikuu (New Moon) set out in 2006 with the ambitious goal of breathing new life into traditional Finnish tango. The sprightly world music quintet has nothing to do with the typically melancholic tango mood. This small orchestra, describing its style as "Vintage Sounds of Finland," pays a respectful homage to the traditional Finnish entertainment music of the 1930s to 1960s on their albums. - PR | * | 1:20:51 (MP3 | Pop-up) |

Miramar | Un Astro | Entre Tus Flores | Ansonia | Replete with a string section and powerful poetic and Spanish lyricism, the record which the band describe as ‘bolero-beat’ – bolero with a touch of psychedelic rock, folk, bossa nova, funk and salsa – builds on the band’s previous recordings, yet departs markedly from the more classical approach of their debut album Dedication To Sylvia Rexach. - PR | * | 1:41:50 (MP3 | Pop-up) |
Willie Colon and Ismael Miranda | Mayoral | Doble Energia | Fania | 1:49:21 (MP3 | Pop-up) | ||

The album „Bosa Mara“ which is in front of you was made by MSR for their own soul. They had never adhered to the on-going trends, populism and commercialization haven't been their thing, but on this album, they have additionally eased up on predictions. - PR | * | 2:28:28 (MP3 | Pop-up) |

Meybahar | Afousis | Meybahar | Fono | Meybahar was born out of the meeting of Greek and Hungarian culture, during those moments when Marilia and Marton met each other for the first time and played music together on the island of Crete. The pairing of the captivating sound of the Greek santour ('santouri' is a relative of the Hungarian dulcimer) and the violin is a perfect musical recipe. | * | 2:27:51 (MP3 | Pop-up) |
El Pantorrillas | En un mundo tan injusto | Palomo cojo | El Pantorrillas | If it weren't for the title, which is clearly and openly provocative, this album would be a collection of stories of love and heartbreak, of longings for life and freedom, which, common to all of us, men and women, heterosexual and homosexual, are revolutionarily embedded in the bed of a musical language anchored in the traditional music of southeastern Spain. - PR (Translated) | * | 2:30:39 (MP3 | Pop-up) |
Gao Hong and Zhao Xiaoxia | Dancing with Strings | Prelude to the Divine Realm - Pipa and Guqin | Naxos World | Gao Hong – a true visionary in pipa artistry. PAN Project Ensemble | Oshi Dhora (He Came) | Borderless Flows | Neuma Records | True to its name, Borderless Flows knows few boundaries. Also true to its name, PAN Project Ensemble brings together ‘everything’ from far-flung parts of the world: a multi-cultural sonic give and take that covers a wide territory. Following the global sextet’s debut album, PAN Project, this new collection of trad-mod encounters deepens our collective musical roots: “‘Pan’ actually means ‘coming together’ in Korean, and that certainly applies to the vision here, as this cross-cultural experience also unites improvisation with experimental ideas, effectively putting an entirely new spin on world music.” – Take Effect | * | 2:38:05 (MP3 | Pop-up) |
Tenzin Choegyal | Passage | Snow Flower | Rainbow Valley Records in partnership with Warner Music Australia | Snow Flower is the collaborative album between Grammy-nominated Tibetan singer, musician and composer Tenzin Choegyal, multi-instrumentalists Matt Corby and Rohin Jones (The Middle East), and songwriter Alex Henriksson. Produced Corby and Henriksson at Rainbow Valley Studios on Bundjalung country in northeastern New South Wales, it's a work of free flowing innovation and rejuvenating enchantment. A project through which key tenets of Tibetan Buddhism – compassion, truth seeking, loving-kindness – are foregrounded with mantras, vocalese and spare, skillful instrumentation. - PR | * | 2:47:31 (MP3 | Pop-up) |

iirc, Cop Watch has a whole "Know Your Rights" manual -- i am guessing that International Refugee Assistance Project, International Rescue. Committee, etc. have resources in many languages
(i know there are other organizations but those were the first that came to mind!)
i never got raided, but friends of mine did -- what we learned is that you do not have to let anyone in, nor do you have to say a word without an attorney present
with ICE though -- my impression is that they are far from the brightest crayons in the box (not to insult crayons!).-- i have no doubt that they are going after people who are citizens, have green cards, student or work visas, are refugees, etc.
(like it would not surprise me a bit if they came here looking for my Mom -- she died in 1999, but turned out that my parents' 1949 Church wedding certificate was not sufficient proof that she was a "citizen")
