Hearing the opening selection I was not thinking of snow. It gave me an appropriately elegaic soundtrack for reading on the WFMU homepage of the passing of Danny Wise.

Yes, Danny's passing is indeed sad. I didn't know him either, but we're all part of the greater WFMU family here. There are many people that help make Wake'nBake the fun experience that it is. I even have a small part preparing PSAs to read. And I include all of you commenters too.

Listening to this beautiful performance reminds me: Lionel Loueke and Dave Holland were supposed to tour soon, but that tour has been canceled because Holland is having health issues. I hope those issues are not too serious.
