Though I believe Revolver, or Abbey Road are better overall. Great songs, great sequencing, great package.

Fair play to him for holding his hand to his mistakes.
TBF he did write a LZ review that called them dinosaurs & deplored the gulf between them & audience.
I can remember the older boys who I sort of knew who'd been to the gig agreeing with him & they were Rst Scabies, Slimey Toad & their mstes

Beautiful, she practically reinvented this Ewan MacColl tune.
The slow "half-step" style, lovingly lingers on the lovely words, truly lost in the love described in the lyrics.
Gordon Lightfoot among others recorded this at the original quicker pace, but to me merely a historical reference to how the song was played before Roberta showed how it SHOULD be played.

All looks reasonably within tolerances here. We'll see how long the NOLA parade koozies survive living with Goblin.
Highlight: when we ordered a drink that required setting an orange on fire.

Now I remember - after a WFMU tribute (I think from Doug Schulkind), Byard was the first and so far only person I updated the death date for on English Wikipedia. Normally someone else gets to it by the time I check, but that time, it was un-updated...RIP

Whoa, there are totally different saxophones going outside the window right now.
