Listener comments!

  8:03pm Sean Daily:

First comment! Woo hoo!
  8:03pm JT:

Testify! This was what I was listening to the first time LSD hit my brain.
  8:10pm The Buckeye Stops Here:

Awesome....only two songs in and Mike is busting out w/ the Ohio bands.
  8:14pm the old rocker:

Ohio rocks
  8:25pm ~L:

Hey Mike!
Glad you're on the air waves tonight!
  8:26pm Lupica:

DEE-lighted to be here, thanks!
  8:29pm Patrick:

i thought something was a miss when i did not hear any abba, upon further inspection i am pleased to hear the Mighty Mike Lupica.... or should i say, uh, cool!!
  8:37pm jeff:

hey doode.... good to hear you. tanks for the volcano suns & scorpions, brah...
  8:39pm Therese:

Did you stop answering the phone during your shows because you were sick of me calling in drunk and requesting Queen? Tell the truth, I can take it.
  8:41pm Lupica:

No, no, it was the Irwin and Jeff Sarge groupies...
  8:42pm Jason:

What a pleasant surprise to see/hear you tonight. Gonna play anything from the Combat-Core label? Rock on!
  8:43pm Lupica:

Jason, the only Combat Core record I own is GBH's "Oh No!" EP, which I sadly left at home.
  8:46pm Jason:

That's crazy! I was gonna request GBH! Eerie...
  8:48pm Stan:

But you did bring the Judgement Night soundtrack, right?
  8:49pm Lupica:

I keep it on a memory stick around my neck.
  8:50pm Laurie:

Hey, has anyone else had any trouble with the 128k mp3 stream (i.e., buffering every 30 seconds). It started doing that yesterday and still does. I'm able to listen to Resonance FM's 128k mp3 stream without any rebuffering shenanigans.

I have to listen to the 32k stream in the meantime. Boo.

I've already contacted the stream team, and they're looking into it. Just thought I'd ask here!
  8:55pm Jason:

no problems streaming out here on the left coast.
  8:56pm Lupica:

Laurie, I passed your note on to the FMU tech-types. Hope the prob clears up for you soon...
  8:57pm jeep:

The stream is fine here in Indianapolis.
Sounds great excusing my cheap pc speakers.
  8:58pm Ike:

I haven't tried the 128k stream today, but if you need an alternate, try the 24k AAC+ stream -- it's inherently better-sounding than the 32k MP3 stream. Doesn't work with (the evil) iTunes though.
  9:01pm Laurie:

Any suggestions for ACC+ players of Macs?
  9:03pm Stan:

Move to New Jersey. Buy a radio.
  9:03pm Ike:

VLC Player. That can play anything. Or if Winamp is available for Macs, you could try that too. Not sure about that. Not a Mac guy.
  9:09pm Laurie:

Thanks! I'm listening to the aac stream on VLC with the volume pumped up to 400%! Sounds not quite as good as the 128k stream, but certainly better than the 32k mp3 stream!
  9:11pm Stan:

Laurie, come back to FOTchat!
  9:14pm Laurie:

Stan, I'm reading comic books!
  9:14pm Therese:

Dig!
  9:15pm Laurie:

Horse Pills is a great song. Anyone who disagrees is a douche.
  9:19pm Laurie:

I love my Scharpling, but I think Lupica is a pretty great guy.

Play some Buddy Holocaust!
  9:22pm Lupica:

Thank you, Therese. Laurie, I shall endeavor to honor your requestsince youare one of only, like, five people in the world who would bother to make it.
  9:23pm COBRA:

go lupica...kickin it...
  9:23pm Lupica:

Hmm, I thinkweneed a newspacebar
  9:25pm COBRA:

clash bar in clifton, this friday
  9:25pm COBRA:

  9:25pm Stan:

Why? It seems to be working more than half of the time.
  9:26pm COBRA:

  9:47pm takattack:

does anyone know where to get the replacements reissues as digital files? (Preferably not iTunes music store...)
  9:48pm dave:

belatedly: please, if there is a god in this sick, sad universe, let someone properly issue buddy holocaust's complete works. we need it.
  9:49pm Lupica:

Dave: I'm workin' on it. Sit tight.
  9:49pm Guest:

I am totally in love with this song - "I was a punk" = where in the hell did this come from??
  9:50pm Jason:

  9:51pm Guest:

I personally am not from anywhere near Phillie and I thought that was high-larious!
  9:52pm dave:

mr. lupica, you are my one true and only hero.
  9:53pm Evan:

I AM from Philly, and that song is awesome.
  9:59pm James:

  10:01pm Robert Burns:

Enjoying the show, where do you find some of this stuff?
  10:02pm dave:

psst, james...

your toupee is crooked.

just sayin'.
  10:08pm Robert:

Got any Gentle Giant or Atomic Rooster?
  10:17pm Irwin Chusid:

Enstuffing the joy, where do you show some of this find?
  10:17pm Bondo:

There is something uniquely satisfying about listening to Ministry in 2008. They're so free of baggage at this point.
  10:25pm dave:

were ministry particularly laden with baggage before? I guess i need to give 'jesus built my hotrod' a closer listen.
  10:26pm Lupica:

Actually, listen to "Effigy". That'll put it in perspective, I think.
  10:27pm Robert:

Anyone tuning in here in Michigan?
  10:31pm dave:

fair enough. my ministry experience pretty much starts with 'every day is halloween' and encompasses that track and all of 'the land and rape and honey', so i was kinda faking it.
  10:57pm Stan:

Great show, see you at the Record Fair, T!
  12:09am Kramer:

Entertaining show; even when replayed a day later, it has not gone stale.

Next time someone requests Queen, you should give the the Reznor remix of Stone Cold Crazy.
