not much, hanging out in tokyo, visiting my husband who's doing research here. i've been feasting, walking, exploring. we're both former new yorkers, former west coasters, and definte wfmu fans.

great show btw! being here gives me a chance to listen to the late night shows.

Oh la la, early french rock! Yes, there so many great french new pop & rock bands (I really love that Housse The Rocket guys). Great tracks by St Johnny, Poly Styrene, Third Rail & The Pastels, btw. Thanks a lot for the music.
dj jack:

listening from japan...the wonders of the internets! thanks again.

Got back from the Quasi show a little while ago. They closed with a cover of The Who's "heaven & Hell". Jenet Weiss is a goddess.

Can't wait to catch the show next time...

jesus i can't wait to hear Prime Mover - oh I can't wait. oh man jack, you reallyRAWK, thanks so much for being out there! a fan from badalona, catalonia.

Good show Jack - I really enjoyed the Poly Styrene song. The 1969 cover made me think of another Stooges' cover I've heard recently - I Wanna Be Your Dog as performed in a not-for-the-faint-of-heart no wave style by Titmachine (http://www.myspace.com/titmachine)
