Listener comments!

listening all the way to mexico
can you throw in some boris, or anything noisy?
dj jack:

hey claire, thanks for tuning in! got some new black dice coming up soon, will that do ya?

yah, it'l do

loving your playlist <3
dj jack:

you got it, babe!

this is just the song that was running through my head prior...thanks!
dj jack:

thanks david...it's ESP!

thanks a lot!

would you consider a request for joy division or maybe Fripp & Eno? or just Eno?
dj jack:

i consider all requests, will see what i can do. thanks!

have ya got anything from godspeed!?

nice one. i like the bauhaus version too, but that was my younger days.

love the playlist. i'm a regular "night people" listener, but this is great too!
dj jack:

molly, u r 2 kind! thanks!!

I'm listening in England. The music's reminding me there's more going on in the world than sorting out other people's IT problems.

Finally got round to listening to wfmu this morning for the first time after hearing nothing but good things about yr station! We don't really have anything like this here in england. Excellent stuff! Got a feeling you'll be a regular listening habit from now on... cheers!

hang in there!

what does rule 34 stand for?
is it the internet meme thing?

or, as they say in Japan, Ganbatte Kudasai!
dj jack:

benjamin, trev...thanks! it's freeform, no telling what you'll hear. let freedom ring!!! ;-)
dj jack:

@claire: if you check out my complete list of playlists (see bottom of this page for link), you'll see i've locked myself into numbering all my shows. and yup,"rule 34" is an internet thing...
dj jack:

david and claire, hanging with me thru the night, wow...i'm flattered!

This track is really cool ...

... ongie bongie I mean ...
dj jack:

@ben: yeah...it's got the whole dubstep-goes funky thing happenin'.

are there any Mad Professor recordings? e. g. Escape from the Asylum of Dub?

now that were on to protests...
i haven't heard a single ska tune in about two days of checking this station

do you guys dislike ska?
Philip Harris:

I will second what Trev says we really do not have anything like WFMU in the U.K, welcome on baord Trev i have been addicted to WFMU for 4 years or so.

wouldn't mind a bit of King's Lead Hat if you would
dj jack:

hey david, one eno per show!! ;-)

its been great man
gotta sleep now
see ya

Indeed Phil, nice find a radio station that doesn't bombard me with a bunch of songs i already know. Of all the music played so far this morning there's only ONE i've heard before! Plebty I want to hear again tho! If Jack's show is anything to go by I'll definitely be sticking around.
dj jack:

ga'night, claire. it's been fun, catch you next time (although i never know when "next time" will be...)
dj jack:

...and thanks, trev! appreciate the kind words.

Thank you also Jack, highlights have been the beasties, red guitar, air liquid, dsk, and j walter negro to name just a few.

Ah! Coincidence. Just missed you. I thought it had been a long time since you'd been on so I had a look and there you are. Well, not the programme yet but the playlist at least. Hopefully, I can listen to it tomorrow... Cheers
