I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

montreal:

so here is the dilemma--I got the wfmu marathon wishlist in the mail. I decided, yes this year I am going to give. but then-Oh no! there is no Bryce premium!? how can we devotees reconcile this?
  12:35pm
Carmichael:

Bryce is, in of himself, a premium.
  12:35pm
BSI:

by the way, I did finally get the premium CD (sans cover as warned) -- it was being held captive by the DC postal service thanks to the blizzard. No mail for a week. Great fun.
  12:36pm
Carmichael:

*In and of himself* ....
  12:41pm
stingy d:

yo. i'm home. scott williams threatened to sass-inate me.
  12:47pm
#1 Bryce fan:

If I haven't received the 09 premium yet is there a problem, or are they still trickling out?
  12:47pm
bryce:

BSI...you will always be my first master.

montreal, believe it or not (many will surely not...) there will be a premium, but i didn't have it ready in time for the mailer. surprize! djam karet

umma make a packing tape haggis outta scott
  12:50pm

believe it or not, this tune was on the "world music" category in my 2000 high school academic decathlon competition.
  12:54pm

  1:04pm
stingy d:

i'm pretty sure my 'this right here' was in reference to chant de louange... i can't believe it didn't feature keak da sneak... but i digress.
  1:09pm
BSI:

  1:11pm
stingy d:

  1:12pm
Jed:

Sincerely,

A Clockwork Orange

Tony:

Bryce - I got your premium this week, but I am wondering, is there supposed to actually be music on it? When I put it in my computer to play it, it said it was just a blank CD. And there was no track listing or anything, besides "Identity Crisis" printed on the front. Did something go horribly wrong with my CD, or is that how it was supposed to be?
  1:22pm
bryce:

Tony, this is not good! :)

there should definitely be music on it. it won't come up as an identifiable cd in itunes, but there should still be music on it. definitely contact Scott Williams at the office number (201-521-1416) if it doesn't play in a CD player.

the OTHER issue is all the cds were mailed without packaging! this is, sadly, coming in a separate mailing over the next week or so.

sorry for all the trouble!!!!!
  1:23pm
dei xhrist:

I got my premium cd and it sometimes skips in my new player. Eject and reinsert worked. Now I have to find out what the heck is going on with each track because I've not been able to be the faithful listener for several months.
  1:23pm
BSI:

for what it's worth, mine plays fine on the Ritual Mac/bloodletting machine.
  1:24pm
sloe typing dei:

... oh... I was wondering if the elusive "3D cover" was just a joke about the CD being shiny.
  1:27pm
BSI:

I'm expecting the cover to be in IMAX.
  1:28pm
bryce:

hahaa, no, i actually hand-made 100 of these x-actoey gluey movey things....like an idiot! :)

this year, regular ol' packaging, i'm afraid....
  1:29pm
bryce:

BSI is getting a 4-D sleeve
  1:31pm
north guinea hills:

i expect that this handmade cover w/ be covered w/ detachable tabs....
  1:32pm
bryce:

SHHHHHH!!!!!!
  1:33pm
dei x:

I hope mine has a DNA sample. I've regrettably made handmade cases - I suggest avoiding any curving cuts. Unless you have wrists of steel.
  1:35pm
BSI:

ah, and once again, there's the great benefit of the exoskeleton!
  1:36pm
Tony:

Thanks Bryce. I don't think it is just an issue with my computer since I tried it on an old-fashioned CD boombox and it doesn't play on that either. I'll contact Scott, and if they are going to be mailing out the packaging anyway then maybe they can just send me another CD at the same time. The packaging sounds great - I'm looking forward to getting it.
  1:45pm
bryce:

aw crap, tony, i'm sorry.

could you leave a comment and put your email address in the optional email address field? it won't show up on your comment, but i'll be able to grab it after the show. just want to make sure you get a working cd. sounds like our duplicator just sneezed on yours..... :(
  1:52pm
tony:

Done! Thanks again!
  1:54pm
drunk right now:

is it a problem if one has not gotten a cd or packaging yet?
  1:55pm
bryce:

yes, it's because I FUCKING HATE YOU!!!!!!
  1:55pm
bryce:

seriously, you didn't get a cd yet??
  1:56pm
stingy d:

that explains it for me too. i migth go get a beer though.
  1:57pm
drunk right now:

No, not yet- maybe the storm slowed it up.
  2:04pm
bryce:

  2:52pm
Parq:

"stop taunting my orifices" would be a good name for an album. By the way, this has been an especially lovely show today. I may have to bookmark the archive link; this is the sort of thing I could listen to over and over.
  2:53pm
bryce:

thanks, parq!
  2:54pm
stingy d:

  2:58pm
Ike:

Beautiful sounds. Will the 2010 premium be called "Stop Taunting My Orifices"?
  3:02pm
bryce:
