  1:15pm
Looms:

Scott, how can i convince my relatives that "i'm listening to WFMU to relax" when you play that kind of (killer) tracks?

From http://brainwashed.com/nww/:
Also keep an eye out for "Faust At Schiphorst" CD - the last track of which presents the finale of Nurse With Wound's festival set and features Jean-Hervé Peron and Steven Stapleton duetting on "Rock 'n' Roll Session"
  1:38pm
tap cd:

Except Neil's mustache, I like that.
  1:43pm

  1:47pm
tap cd:

  1:49pm
dc pat:

HAhahahah "bile thing" I meant "bike thing"
  1:50pm
Sean Daily:

Jeez, maybe Kinski DID deserve to die...
  1:52pm
Scott:

Well... he did.
  1:53pm
chris:

You really should see Fitxcarraldo and then Burden of Dreams
  1:54pm
chris:

s/b Fitzcarraldo... the indians actually offered to kill Kinski... they thought he was crazy and needed to die
  1:54pm
Ne-guh-tor:

Ok. This is EXCELLENT! Who is the director?
  1:55pm
Pearly Sweets:

David Schmoeller did Puppet Master and Tourist Trap, among other movies, Ne-guh-tor.
  1:55pm
chris:

Werner Hertzog directed the two movies
  1:56pm
Scott:

It's David Schmoeller - he directed "Crawlspace", some awesome schlock from '86. They did finish the film, and Kinski did star. So creepy-crawly! Troma distributed "Please Kill Mr Kinski"
  1:56pm
Looms:

Werner Herzog also made a documentary about his relationship with Kinski: My Best Fiend.
  1:58pm
Ne-guh-tor:

Then, Natasha...
  1:58pm
chris:

Thanks, Looms, I'd forgotten about My Best Fiend... worth the time to watch that one, too! Scene of the two of them meeting up in Aspen, Colorado that is just surreal.
  1:58pm
Scott:

Yep, "My Best Fiend" and Kinski's autobiography are pretty sweet bookends; you're never quite sure how much is self-perpetuation of the myth, but it doesn't matter since the myth surrounding those two is so great.
  2:00pm
Looms:

Agreed.
  2:06pm
chris:

God Prog?
  2:17pm
MD:

Read his book...WALKING ON ICE...
  2:18pm
MD:

Werner's BOOK...
  2:29pm
Little Girl:

FABio FABio FAB-E-OHhhhHHH
  2:40pm
Julie B:

  2:42pm
Sean Daily:

In the court of the crimson kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, aaaaahhhhh...
  2:52pm
bearheist:

greattrack!
  2:58pm
Ne-guh-tor:

HA!
  2:58pm
BSI:
