Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

Great Binary Curious set! Thanks for all your classics, and Kristeen Young and others I just learned today!
  1:17pm
Matt from Springfield:

Kristeen Young - that was like Kate Bush on acid, I'm definitely checking her stuff out! Scars was creepy for sure, and Kraftwerk originally formed in 1970, they certainly were ahead of everyone else. JGL covering PETER SCHILLING?! Did he record that especially for this program, it seems a bit TOO well-suited for you ;)

Lenny:

...thats a very beautiful song by "Bat for Lashes"/Lenny
  3:57pm
Julie:

@Matt Nope, Joe put that on his tumblr site, as he does with his music periodically. I don't think he has any idea I'm playing his stuff, maybe he'll find out eventually!

@Lenny Yes! My first Bat for Lashes song, I will have to listen to more of them!
