  12:57pm Joe B:

Hi Mike, I said they are gonna be on FMU this weekend!
  1:02pm Mike East:

aha! Sorry, I had the volume low and only caught the last bit. That's awesome. I was actually texting Jarrett, the drummer while he was recording that because Andy Breckman was talking about bumping into him on the elevator. I think I'm gonna have to catch them on the archives...Keili's on a bit early for me on a Sunday. Everyone should check them out as well.
  1:06pm glenn:

  1:51pm dc pat:

  1:52pm Joe B:

hmmmm ... wonder if it will have to do with a Norton anniversary party?
  1:55pm Carmichael:

Was that Bruce Johnston?
  1:56pm glenn:

originally from brooklyn, toured around playing rockabilly. moved to canada, became a psychology prof at the university of guelph, wrote some great books including caveman logic, about why we continue to make dumb decisions, given all the info we have not to make them, and smalltown heroes, which is about minor league baseball. a super interesting guy, who made some pretty good music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1tQf8vcLD8
  1:57pm Joe B:

Yes!
  1:59pm Carmichael:

Boy, Johnston and Glen Campbell were responsible for a LOT of surf/hot rod music back in the 60s. I'm just now getting deeply into the whole Gary Usher era.
