Listener comments!

  12:03pm Cecile:

checking in and out! Have a great show, Joe, catch you on archives.
  12:05pm Cecile:

I love this song. Kiss, of all bands, did a great version of this.
  12:09pm Joe B:

Hi & bye Cecile! Yes Kiss does a decent version, my all-time fave cover of that was by the Original Sins, unfortunately never captured in the studio
  12:10pm Cecile:

aw, man.I would have loved to hear that.

Yeah, now that I think about it, Stanley and Simmon's harmonies are even on their other songs informed by the DC5. It's a good fit.
  12:12pm Cecile:

yeah. I like Kiss up to about Destroyer. Deal. :D
  12:13pm efd:

Kiss's cover of "Then (S)He Kissed Me" is pretty good too.

Hi Joe! Bye Cecile!

If it weren't for the Rickenbacker 12-string electric guitar, I don't think this show would be possible. So much ear candy, my teeth hurt.

  1:14pm joe:

Very excited to see X soon
  1:21pm Cheri Pi:

  1:23pm Midwest Man:

Made it late to the party, had some errands to run.

I have the biggest crush on Babywoodrose, even though I have to pay import for their albums.
1:36pm yair yona (tel aviv, Earth):

Baby Woodrose sounds like the band Dragontears . cool.
  1:36pm Cheri Pi:

The singer Lorenzo (?)is in Dragontears

  2:47pm zoot:

I remember it from my junior high days. Thought it was a much better, and less sappy, tune than 1941...

Great show. I've enjoyed every minute. Cheers, Joe B.
  2:50pm Joe B:

thanks Mike!
  2:50pm 426wedge:

Thanks for playing the 'Mats earlier; so many great memories of them at the Entry in Mpls back in the early eighties.
  2:52pm Das:

Yes, great show as always Joe!
  2:56pm 426wedge:

oh...& DC5 "Anyway..."; that song has blown me out of the deepest blues more than once. Can't help but get up and get on with it after hearing them. I caught them on BW TV when I was a kid & still have the albums. Played often.
  2:31pm Carl:

Shotglass Killers' track Monkey Island Swing written for the band by the one and only Scott Drake of The Humpers!
Thanks for the airplay,Joe.
p.s.my pal JJ Rassler digging all the airplay!
  3:27pm Jeb:

Yay! The Embarrassment! They played 2 shows up here in Ottawa, Canada, in the mid-80's and I think most everyone who saw them became a fan. I know I did.
