Listener comments!

  9:02am λɯəɹəɾ:

he said lexicon
  9:03am Cheri Pi:

He said it. Hey Ken, I bet your soul wax pals would love to mash Iced Honey with Azz Everywhere.
  9:03am Cheri Pi:

  9:04am Dan B From Upstate:

Yeah, I think this is the perfect christmas gift to give to someone I don't like but I still have to buy a christmas gift for due to some sort of awful social pressures placed on us.
  9:04am glenn:

christ on a skateboard. make it stop.
  9:04am Ken:

Cheri, you are too. You're spermless, like a girl.

Jeremy, what did he rhyme with Lexicon?
  9:05am Cheri Pi:

You know those French men who talk through a song with a nice vibe in the background (Melody Nelson and the like) I think this is what Lou was going for.
  9:06am Mark:

this actually got a positive review in the new issue of The Wire
  9:06am Brian C.:

Dreams do come true! Been waiting for some more Lulu. I guess this is a "bad" cut? Hmm, not sure if "good" or "bad" applies to this. Pretty sure "Awesome" does!
  9:06am ?:

I want to hear Barbara Streisand and Sepultura
  9:07am glenn:

well, mexican would be the obvious choice for a rhyme.
  9:07am Ken:

I LIKE it!!
  9:08am lee:

poor Lou
  9:08am Marmalade Kitty:

  9:09am moose:

i see him often at the dog run, lou reed- now i'll only think of 'spermless like a girl'
  9:09am Mark:

you should get the audio of Loutallica playing "White Heat/White Light"
  9:10am λɯəɹəɾ:

i had too google the lyrics because i didn't recall. he used lexicon in the middle of a line, not the end, thus making it not rhyme capable at the moment of execution.

but Mexican or even better, mexicon, would be a good rhyming partner imho.
  9:12am Mark:

The Return Of Pipecock Jackson has been reissued by Honest Jon
  9:14am Cheri Pi:

I've got Pipecock on order! Can't wait
  9:14am Mark:

I'm gonna get it too
  9:18am jan:

Ken, reporting from Amtrak NY to Baltimore- the station keeps dropping out! Signal is good now, thankfully, because I bought headphones specially for the ride !
  9:18am glenn:

so... the return of the return of pipecock jackxon?
  9:20am Cheri Pi:

I hear that Lee Perry burned down the Ark because of the coming of LuLu.
  9:20am Robert:

Jan, this is the time of year, especially in the morning, when VHF & UHF tend to bend more around the curve of the Earth.
  9:20am Mark:

"Originally released in 1980, this album is the final work to emerge from the BlackArk studio, before its permanent destruction."
  9:23am yayson:

just tuned in, is this the 18-sec song show? i really like 18-sec songs, perfect for my attention span.
  9:27am Ken:

Sorry Yayson, last week was the 18 second show. Today I'm playing only sings with a duration of 4:47. Requests?
9:28am Gavin: this the remix or the original?
  9:29am AnAnonymousParty:

  9:33am Andrew:

Or that CSI guy.
  9:34am pgw in mntclr:

Since he's in Dr. Jacoby's gang, it's probably Doogie
  9:34am still b/p:

West Side Salon. Some of those Jets actors were required to lighten their hair for shooting the picture, for a more pronounced contrast with the Sharks.
  9:35am Dan B From Upstate:

Dancing In The Carmen by People Like Us and Ergo Phizmiz from "Rhapsody in Glue"
  10:05am BSI:

@Cecile: I just got here, did I miss some zesty hair obsession? In Freddy Mercury's case, it's a no-brainer. In my humble. When the hair went, so went the magic(k).
  10:06am (~_^) fofo [:

Ooo, Rhapsody in Glue (♥_♥)
  10:07am BSI:

Oh hell, for finger-snapping, hit up SNAKEFINGER. Lots of choices. "Here Comes The Bums" from the Chewing Hides the Sound LP comes to mind.

  10:08am Aaron in JCity:

Prong - really?? What no beg to differ???
  10:08am Cecile:

I said something was "a hair better" right after.

Freddie's hair was kinda short for News of the World, and there was good stuff there. And I think while Another One Bites the Dust isn't good Queen, it's a great song.

BSI, how can I forget that one? Classic.
  10:09am Gavin:

I love this song more every time I hear it.
  11:11am Mark:

the down side of black metal is always the vocals
  11:12am Cecile:

some bands have great vocals even if they are growly. I always liked Opeth's. And Lamb of God's actually used to be pretty good.

Death metal always sounds to me like someone vomiting or about to vomit.

  11:16am Cecile:

they could take some lessons from Kylesa or Mastodon.
  11:16am Mark:

try 3 asterisks for the password that always works for me
  11:16am Jenniqua:

Ken - can we make your rant about the password be the emergency broadcast message? I'd rather listen to that when the world goes to hell.
  11:17am Robert:

Do cookie monsters vomit frequently?
  11:17am Dan B From Upstate:

You could play the DirecTV EAS song. Didn't they play "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga?
  11:18am Cookie Monsters:

When we puke, it's just cookie dough again. No problem.
  11:18am (~_^) fofo:

  11:51am AnAnonymousParty:

Somehow I've always suspected in a real emergency that would trigger a national EAS alert, we'd hear the EAS tones and then silence as the EMP takes out every non-hardened electronic device.

everything you dream of is right in front of you
  11:52am Ken:

  11:54am Reality Check:

EAS is a 1950s setup that just can't be made relevant to seurity problems that would occur now. But people somewhere are getting paid government salaries and bennies to work on it and oversee it, so it will never die.
  11:54am #workfare:

hey @sainsburys "live well for less" like on thin air when you are on #workfare? SLAVE DRIVERS - I WONT BUY FROM YOU!
  11:56am (~_^) fofo:

Government salaries. Hmm...Sounds interesting. Here in the UK it's called taxpayer's money.
