I got back from holiday yesterday and just realised that I left my Cocteau Twins compilation of 1982-2000 in the CD drive of my parents' computer 1000 km away. :-(

Mike S, as you say, The Rokes were a UK band working in Italy. They did Italian-language versions of US & UK hits as well as songs by Italian writers in Italian such as the original version (don't know the title) of "Let's Live For Today" later a US hit for The Grass Roots (who also recorded "Bella Linda", also originally by The Rokes). Phew!
