Listener comments!

  3:11am
Konin:

That was the Trip I needed, Chris. Ready for action!
  3:15am
Adam in Portland:

This is feeling awful nourishing for my mind thus far.
  3:21am
Tarantino:

welcome, welcome all. party party move your body!
  3:34am
Adam in Portland:

Soul power!
  3:40am
Adam in Portland:

Who messes with Patty Smith? If Fred "Sonic" Smith was still alive, together he and Patty would've taken all comers.
  3:47am
Adam in Portland:

Sorry, Patti! Much as I love you I do that sometimes.
  4:04am
dylan in syracuse:

amen to that mary j rework! and for finding live comment section.
  4:06am
Adam in Portland:

At a new year's eve show here Machinedrum and Danny Corn really moved the room well sideways.
  4:07am
Adam in Portland:

Project Nimh was difficult to watch, but I'm somewhat glad it settled as it did.
  4:08am
Tarantino:

this is where its all going down.
  4:11am
Adam in Portland:

Chris, what do you think of the Pinch and Shackleton collabo? In other news, I'm really ready to hear what comes of the Kevin Martin/Liz Harris joint creations.
  4:11am
Goldie in London:

a LOT of love coming from London this morning. This song is epic
  4:12am
dylan in syracuse:

first time here, enjoying it so far senyor tarantino. can i subscribe to a podcast or do i have to go to the rss archives for shows i miss?
  4:17am
Adam in Portland:

I'm feeling nostalgic. Any chance you'd throw some shine Derrick May's way this morning?
  4:19am
Adam in Portland:

Better yet, Kevin Saunderson?
  4:25am
Goldie in London:

Cliff Richard is a British institution. Loved as much as biscuits and tea. He does a calendar each year with him in poses with dolphins/on motorbikes/sailing a yacht/general lifestyle awesomeness. It's pretty epic. He never ages and he is friends with the Queen.
  4:26am
Goldie in London:

Actually, i should say Sir Cliff. We NEVER refer to him as Cliff
  4:27am
maxim:

he was marketed as the british elvis in the 50s too.
the guitarist in his band was the 1st person in the country to get a groovy fender guitar,er.. apparently
  4:33am
Adam in Portland:

Thanks, Chris! I am completely enamored with Saunderson's output.
  4:34am
Adam in Portland:

Wasn't Cliff Richard in Xanadu?
  4:36am
Adam in Portland:

Hahahaha! Sorry...
  4:38am
Adam in Portland:

Kevin Saunderson's shifts are airtight.
  4:51am
Adam in Portland:

Cliff Richard did a duet with ONJ on the Xanadu soundtrack. ;-)
  4:53am
Adam in Portland:

The Nine Sisters toured with Motörhead didn't they? And they cut a single covering each other's songs as "Motörsister."
  4:56am
Adam in Portland:

My mistake: I have since learned that that tour/single did *not* happen. Turns out "Philthy Animal" Taylor merely did rails with the Nine Sisters.
  5:02am
Tarantino:

ii never doubted you for a second Adam! no, good call, i will credit you
  5:03am
Goldie in London:

Cliff Richard released The Lords Prayer as a single. He literally sang The Lords Prayer to the tune of Auld Land Syne. It was number 1 in the UK for two weeks. THAT's how powerful he is
  5:09am
Adam in Portland:

Haha, Thanks, Chris. I was 1/2 correct...at best. I heard a tale once that if you play a cut from the Xanadu soundtrack at WFMU, station legend Irwin comes down out of the wall and dry reads the entire first episode of Land of the Lost. Unverified, but worth a go.
  5:11am
Adam in Portland:

*I'm* seeing the magic!
  5:13am
Adam in Portland:

I feel like I'm rollin' across a laser beam, or Orion's belt. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  5:18am
Adam in Portland:

Cloris Leachman once ate a handful of Flake bars and slept with a demon. I think.
  5:19am
Tarantino:

oh Goldie, that probably wasn't even him. there's probably all sorts of "Sir Cliff's" out there just like there are Daft Punk's. he's like a drunk british Santa!
  5:20am
Goldie in London:

I know his voice - it was def him. THERE IS ONLY ONE
  5:21am
Adam in Portland:

This Daniel Bortz track would compliment something from Pigeonhed "Pigeonhed" quite nicely. Or vice versa. :-)
  5:27am
Adam in Portland:

I'm stumped! "Love Theme from War Games?"
  5:38am
Adam in Portland:

I once owned the "Beat Street" soundtrack. Wha?
  5:40am
Adam in Portland:

I believe part of Xanadu was filmed in an old warehouse on the Jersey shore. No joke.
  5:49am
Sir Cliff Richard:

I am the dolphin king! I can snog anything!
  5:51am
Tarantino:

dahahaha! IT'S SIR CLIFF HIMSELF!!! hey buuuuuuuuddy, sorry i just discovered you, but keep up the good work & enjoy all the respect you demand.
  5:52am
Goldie in London:

well rumours are that you only snog male dolphins......but its never been confirmed......
  5:54am
Sir Cliff Richard:

I'm as bronzed as ever. I'll pop over to your side of the pond sometime, Mate. Likely to win an award for hair care.
  5:54am
Tarantino:

i bet he does. all those "Sirs" do, don't they now?
  5:56am
Tarantino:

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. can you just tell me real quick what products you use?? wait Clifffff!!
  5:58am
Sir Cliff Richard:

I play cricket. I hear crickets. Pish posh. Speaking of Posh, Bex and I are quite close with Macca and the three of us are quite content to leave kisses on her bottom.
  6:00am
Tarantino:

heather mills wants her leg back
  6:01am
Sir Cliff Richard:

Good show, Sir! Good show!
  6:02am
maximilian:

hello whose big money her???????????? overleveragedl@gmai.com
  6:03am
Goldie in London:

Heather Mills can shove her leg up her a**e – she screwed over a Beatle. One legged WENCH.
Right I really have to go do some work. Thanks for a great show!
  6:14am
Tarantino:

SURE
  6:22am
Tarantino:

Dylan - no podcast yet, just DL from this page here & will look into that for you. thanks.
