  9:04pm Peanut Gallery:

Great to be here -- what's on TV?
  9:06pm -s-:

Nailing it,Mike.Nail this train to the ground.
  9:10pm Peanut Gallery:

Does the Alligator somehow trump the Swim and/or the Frog?
  9:14pm PB:

I always loved George's very short-but-sweet guitar solos on the very early Beatles stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm Mike Sin:

Hey folks! Thanks for tuning in!
  9:22pm PB:

Good stuff, and all of it at least 45 years old.
  9:33pm Bill:

Alright is not all right.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm frenchee:

you tell 'em, Bill!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37pm frenchee:

Hi PB, beg to differ: the Siberians only *sound* like it's 45 years old
  9:37pm Bill:

A principal must live by principles.
  9:39pm PB:

You're right, I thought it was mid-60s stuff that Mike forgot to post the year for. Turns out it was released this year. Sounds old but is a great track nonetheless.
  9:40pm PB:

The Siberians also sounds like a classic mid-60s garage band name. Fooled me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm frenchee:

and now we're creeping into the 90s, woo-hoo!
  9:58pm Bill:

was this an iphone/ipod commercial song?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59pm frenchee:

gah! hope not, Bill
  10:10pm Matt from Springfield:

Hi Mike! Hi Frenchee! Glad you're on!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm frenchee:

Hi Matt from Springfield!
  10:14pm Matt from Springfield:

I've heard of Liz French before, didn't know she was the "frenchee" I see sometimes.

@Mike: Is your microphone connected? I hope your "mic's in"! :D
  10:15pm Matt from Springfield:

Hearty hello Frenchee! (all puns aside...)

Love Optical Sound whenever it's on.
  10:16pm John:

I hope you show up to work tomorrow. Good show Mikey!
  10:19pm Parq:

Mike, sounding terrific! Every time you're on the air I get more knocked out. Heartfet Howdys to Frenchee -- and hey, I just finished dinner and I'm still wearing my Cherry Blossom Clinic apron!
  10:20pm Matt from Springfield:

Terre's Cherries! Brings your cooking good luck, Parq!
  10:22pm Matt from Springfield:

Ha ha, "In-Sect" as a band name!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm frenchee:

Go Parq GOOOOO! Cookin' w/Cherry-Terre!
  10:34pm Matt from Springfield:

Great jangly rock from the Beat Buddies!
  10:39pm catherine:

Mike, Your show is everything Bill Kelly's show used to be . You're my new fav.
  10:40pm Matt from Springfield:

Wow, the DUTCH Beat Buddies! I like!
  10:43pm Lt. Palmer:

My pants are the perfect length - just gracing the tops of my shoes.
  10:45pm Bill:

Should we leave?
  10:47pm Adam in Portland:

@bill, no.
  10:47pm Bill:

you come up with best band names. Beethovens!
  10:57pm Matt from Springfield:

Thought this had a very "Merseybeat" sound! Was this one the Epstein NEMS bands?
  10:58pm Parq:

Frenchee the copy editor, did you hear they just said "Alls I need"?
  10:59pm Jeezy:

Wow... Only ever knew the Get Happy version!
  11:00pm Bill:

Did they do "Sorrow"? (question mark outside the quotes for Liz's benefit).
  11:00pm Matt from Springfield:

THAI ROCK!! And a very faithful cover of "What'd I Say", considered the variations in some of their covers from that time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm frenchee:

thanks for that, Bill (squirm). I had only heard the EC version too
  11:12pm Destroit:

greetings, I got lost in CBN for a few hours. Good to hear you Mike.
  11:14pm Mike Sin:

Well all right! Thanks for the comments! I'll try to answer some of questions on the air during a mike break.
  11:14pm Matt from Springfield:

A Curt Boettcher Songbook? This Beth sounds EXTREMELY familiar--who originally did this song? I think Irwin in fact played an older version of this.

That said, this is a nice version Mike!
  11:27pm Matt from Springfield:

Hey hey...

Funny how that translation worked, more to fit Thai words into the original sound. (The Drunken Noodles will do that to you!)
  11:32pm Bill:

I was out sick last night. I tried to get Mike Sin to fill in for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:34pm frenchee:

whoa! how you did that?
  11:35pm Matt from Springfield:

Sammy does a great cover of "Spinning Wheel"--considering the original was sung by Al Kooper, they have a similar style and it works out well here.
(Although, I think this was the same album where Sammy sang "In The Ghetto"--NOT as good! Golden Throats material!)
  11:37pm Bill:

Spinning Wheel? Al Kooper? Detention!
  11:38pm Bill:

i am hurriedly checking to see if he might have done a demo.
  11:40pm G:

@frenchee: There are various websites that have a box for flipping and inverting text. http://www.upsidedowntext.com/ and others...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42pm frenchee:

thanks G,
I prefer to think it's hoodoo mojo magic!
  11:42pm G:

that's fun, too :-)
  11:43pm Matt from Springfield:

Gasp! Otis REDDING and Carla THOMAS??! I wouldn't have thunk it! Super-duet!!!
  11:56pm Bill:

Thanks Mike and Liz. This was a great show and a lot of fun. Beats working.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57pm frenchee:

ciao Bill!
  11:59pm Matt from Springfield:

Thanks for a wonderful show Mike and frenchee!
See ya next time! Goodnight everyone!
