  10:51am
dc pat:

I'll send 'em some Quisp
  10:55am
Carmichael:

Irwin turned me on to lots of odd people through his book Songs in the Key of Z. I've been a devoted listener ever since. And I pledged enough to sponsor Studio B for the year.
  10:55am
Cecile:

right on, katoni!
  10:55am
still b/p:

Hey, for some reason, Quisp came to mind a few moments ago for me, too, when the fill-in-the-bowl cue arose. Although back during the promotional feud, I was a Quake backer.
  10:56am
Cecile:

right on, Carm.

Well, meeting time, but keep on keeping on folks!
  10:57am
dc pat:

Quisp was my fave when I was little. I liked the pink guy on the box.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00am
Doug S.:

Hellooooo, Pittsburgh.
  11:06am
?:

speak for yourselves, lepers . . .
  11:06am
Maria T:

I just spent a weekend in Vermont with a bunch of hippies, so I am immune to this Christian anarchist stuff, Jason. (But I donated nonetheless!)
  11:06am
Carmichael:

Hi Annie the Nomad! You're moving to the land of barbeque. Ohhh, how I envy you!
  11:08am
annie:

yep, time to move on again, hopefully for the next to last time..
  11:10am
Ken From Hyde Park:

If you want a shock to your system, check the web site for a typical commercial radio station. I just looked at the one for W P D H (101.5 FM in Poughkeepsie, NY). Once your poor eyes adjust, think about WFMU being bought out by them if the marathon comes up short. I liked Quisp better than Quake, too.
  11:10am
Deepak:

i quite liked 'we are all lepers here.'
  11:13am
blip:

can't help but notice that the retro mania pic has the KISS makeup as "1960"...?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am
jason:

i think that's a 7-UP dot for the 60s, blip
  11:17am
roman david:

WFMU's website really is the best radio site I've seen. (In the UK, commercial radio sites have an air of GeoCities about them. BBC not bad, Resonance is wanting, NTS pretty but you don't know what show is on when) W P D H though - that is another level of bad. Is that a representative example?

Pledged a few days ago, forgot to credit to you guys - either way I AM HAPPY FOR MY IMPENDING SHIRT and keep doing what you're doing! Forever!
  11:19am
blip:

But right below the 7-UP dot... the makeup around the eyes....
  11:20am
JOE:

I also eat a lot of sugar, and poop out WFMU pledges
  11:32am
Hugh:

Good pledge morning, Jason
'Country Bob'---from wkcr?
  11:35am
Alison Porchnik:

I'm curious about what Irwin has to say about Andrew Breitbart. That oughta get the dollars rolling in.
  11:38am
seang:

love this!
  11:39am
Carmichael:

This is punishment for not pledging, isn't it?
  11:39am
Alison Porchnik:

I'm going into the zone now. Woe to my colleagues who think any work will get done.
  11:40am
JOE:

I can't stop thinking I am endlessly falling through the internet right now -- PANPIPES VERTIGO
  11:41am
Robert:

Let that truck pass already.
  11:46am
Carmichael:

For $180.00, you can adopt any device, appendage, room, or piece of equipment at FMU. And you'll also get cool premiums and a big figurative hug from the WFMU staff. What's better than that?
  11:50am
Alison Porchnik:

I already adopted the kitchen table. All I asked was that it be wiped off every couple of months. We'll see about that.
  11:51am
Ike:

Yesterday was payday for a lot of people. So come on people, pledge NOW before you are tempted to spend it all on hookers and blow!
  11:51am
Carmichael:

I like the way you think, Ike.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53am
Doug S.:

Annie, you're moving?!?
  12:01pm
JOE:

KEEP PLEDGING, JUST CHECK THE "TALKS CHEAP" BOX. I HEARD JASON WILL BE RIPPED APART BY TIGERS IF YOU DONT. !!!!!!
