Avatar 12:12pm kamikaze:

Hey All! Thanks for tuning in! I have no guest this week, so it's JUST 3 hours of kamikaze-mess!
  12:14pm Cecile:

According to this track, the devil really likes Jean-Michel Jarre.
  12:16pm josh:

zombi meets sabbath!
  12:26pm Chris in Philly:

Can't believe you are playing this. Underrated big time. Maybe the last worthwhile sst release? Love it
  12:29pm Andrea in Brighton UK:

Loving this!
  12:31pm Tom:

As Easter weekend comes upon us, I must follow in my annual tradition. On the behalf of all of the Jews, I would just like to say, Our bad. Sorry bout that, however a blue eyed white guy in an ocean of tan people, well we just had to kill the guy. Too many chicks were digging him, the whole walking on water thing, and he could change water to wine.
Again, our fault, please accept our most humble apology and all hail satan. You may now continue to hate us for we still control the banks and all of hollywood. ;)
  12:33pm Jim:

  12:35pm Jim:

Right now you are the HOLY HOST!!!
  12:36pm joe:

Oh sure rub it in RUB IT IN! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  12:37pm Mr Donut:

Big a ya, DK!
  12:38pm joe:

@Tom well now that you put it that way. :)
  12:39pm Jim:

wow Jim Marshall died..he invented the marshall amps..http://marshallamps.com/
  12:42pm Cheri Pi:

I like this track a heck of a lot.
  12:43pm Cheri Pi:

I've missed the voivod the last 3 weeks; well not today.
  12:44pm tom sawyer:

Voivod is doing a show of nothing but dimension hatross maybe you play it in its entirety?
  12:47pm Jim:

Well now that YOB is on..I guess it's the end of Dianes show..
  12:53pm chris:

Wow! Chiming in to say, F yes to this Yob track.
  12:54pm Jim:

I went to see YOB in 2002..I think they are still playing
  12:57pm Chris from DC:

Yeah, Yob's doing Deathfest this year.
  12:58pm josh:

and playing brooklyn in may
  12:59pm Mr Donut:

lemme guess - 10th anniversary of this monster debuting on MTV?
  1:00pm Dan from Toronto:

Checking in from the rapidly-melting north. Loving the tunes today, Diane!
  1:00pm Jim:

I meant YOB songs are long..that fell flat aye?
  1:02pm Cheri Pi:

  1:03pm Jim:

Today marks the day that Kurt Cobain killed himself..
  1:03pm Chris from DC:

Geez, I'm literal minded today. Got it Jim:)
  1:04pm Jim:

  1:05pm Cheri Pi:

nice work Jim.
  1:07pm Cheri Pi:

I had a choice a few years to see either Voivod or Yob who were playing at the exact same time at a festival; I went with Voivod.
  1:10pm tom sawyer:

good choice
  1:12pm Jim:

that was the correct choice..But even though they started at the same time..After VoiVod finished..You could catch YOB playing their first song..
  1:25pm Cecile:

  1:30pm joe:

Was that a harmonica? I'm sold.
  1:31pm Braveness23:

is it 'a harmonica' or 'an harmonica'?
  1:31pm mike in sf:

UNSANE yyyyyyeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!
  1:34pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I am fifty years old today. Thanks for the good memories and more to come. It wasn't such a good birthday when Kurt Cobain died, though. Other birthdays today include Spencer Tracy, Bette Davis, Gregory Peck, Colin Powell and Agnetha Fältskog.
  1:35pm Braveness23:

Wow, happy birthday, man!
  1:35pm joe:

Happy Birthday Ken
  1:37pm mike in sf:

Braveness23 I started reading rules on "a" or "an" before "h" words and, uh, just got way more confused.
  1:38pm Cecile:

ah, Gray Matter.
Great underlooked pop-punk band.
  1:39pm Braveness23:

The rule is that you use 'an' when the following word begins with a *vowel sound*. Since some dialects do not pronounce the 'h' in harmonica "an harmonica" can be correct.
  1:40pm Jim:

  1:41pm Patrick:

alright the Lizard!
  1:47pm Jim:

Laibach!!! My arms hurt when I hear them!!
  1:49pm Braveness23:

Ah Laibach, I love thee!
  1:53pm Cecile:

The Aints.
  2:07pm Cheri Pi:

Oh Indian, one of the loudest bands I've ever seen in my entire life.
  2:08pm Chris from DC:

Whoa, that Indian's good stuff. I have no trouble believing they're loud.
  2:11pm Cheri Pi:

Good loud too, you could hear every note.
  2:14pm Cecile:

when were they around?
  2:17pm Cheri Pi:

They came to Columbus about 6 months ago;
  2:18pm Cecile:

ah. I thought because of the reissue, they had broken up or something. Could have been an early record, though.
  2:21pm Cheri Pi:

Don't think they were getting the respect they deserved (lol)
  2:21pm Cheri Pi:

Slices rule. This is my kind of band.
  2:33pm Cecile:

how do you keep Cathedral and Candlemass straight? I keep mixing them up.
  2:36pm Mr Donut:

Lee Dorian has a very distinct moaning and groaning style
  2:43pm Cheri Pi:

I can't keep Black Tusk / Back Cobra straight, I have to think about BT's bearded bass player as my anchor.
  2:44pm Cecile:

and which one is he in? Which one is the Messiah dude in?
Avatar 2:45pm kamikaze:

I have the same issue with Black Tusk and Black Cobra. Not Black Breath though! :)
  2:45pm Cheri Pi:

Black Tusk.
  2:46pm Cheri Pi:

Diane, all 3 were on the same bill 2 yrs back; Damn right not Black Breath.
  2:46pm Mr Donut:

DK can you play some Black Breath? Just saw a rave in the paper
Avatar 2:53pm kamikaze:

No time, sorry!
  2:54pm Cheri Pi:

Vaura, I will purchase you this week I promise.
  3:00pm joe:

Have fun DK. I hate you :)
