Bill Mac:

Hey everybody, hope your diggin' your Saturday morning... hey Brian, I was just getting a shout out to you myself. Things are rolling along here. How you doing? Clawhammer banjos? Does it really make a difference?
  3:35am
Brian in UK:

Well clawhammer is the opposite to the traditional style of picking. The late Earl Scruggs, the greatest was of the trad method.
I'm home alone this weekend, Bill. Odd. Walked dog now need food.
Avatar 3:39am
Bill Mac:

Does the dog need food or are you hungry? Scruggs - I believe we played some of him a few weeks ago. man they're dropping like flies this year aren't they?
  3:41am
Brian in UK:

Well, BSI regular listener. What station has listeners who are artistes?
Dog has been fed ofcourse, it's me that's hungry.

Avatar 3:58am
Bill Mac:

Words to live by Babi. Any sleep under 1 hour and 45 minutes is considered a nap and do not count
  3:58am
Jay /London:

Avatar 4:30am
Bill Mac:

Hey Martyn! I was a little worried there! So we have a sidebar kind of challenge here.... CD player number 3 seems to choose to skip when I'm furthest away from any control over it, forcing me to decommission it for the remainder of the show. ... eh it's too long a story to get into.... Hey Martyn! Hi Ketty! Que tal?
Avatar 4:31am
Bill Mac:

Ummm.... hello KITTY... I'm still working on the spelling as you can see

Thanks Martyn, I couldn't agree more. I'm in the shadows every saturday while we listen to Bill so am having a moment of emancipation onto the message boards. Do you all have wardrobes full of WFMU t-shirts as well? And where is this year's SWAG?
Avatar 4:35am
Bill Mac:

Andrew, good morning... I had anticipated a small audience today... thanks for dropping buy.... and... monkey could do a show here... there's just too much good material that it's almost impossible to do a bad show...
  4:35am
Jay /London:

Hiya Vic! From what I saw on the 3rd floor boxes of it are crammed into the hallway.

  4:41am
Brian in UK:

Go Viccy. Get your slovenly husband moving at least to make the tea/coffee.

  5:38am
Jay /London:

no not rich they had nothing
  5:41am
Stanley:

Decided against going to a music festival in Glasgow today. Checked out the bands playing as I hadn't heard most of them before and was a bit disappointed. Musically accomplished but over-earnest and unoriginal. Excepting Milk Music, Forest Swords and The Phantom Band to name a few. Probably stick with FMU today and wait for the pick of the Primavera shows.
  5:47am
Krypt:

Hey Stanley come down to our picture framing workshop in Yorkhill, we are having a mini FMU festival while we finish last minute work for the Glasgow School of Art degree show. Framefest!
Avatar 5:47am
Bill Mac:

Hey Stan I believe the Free Music Archive has a sampler zip file of most if not all of the bands that are playing primavera. check when you got a moment

@Jay I think I got it... the notes say "The Subway Sect weren't 'poor'. They were rich with nothing."
  5:52am
Jay /London:

  5:54am
Stanley:

Krypt that sounds great, I'll pass this on to my graphic arts pal who's also at GSA. Glad to hear you have some converts down your way. Great show again Bill. I'm ready now to face the world.
